Mockups — 3D device & apparel

Put your work on a MacBook that opens, apparel, a mug, a framed poster or a business card — studio light, animatable camera, transparent PNG.

Mockups places an image from your library onto a real 3D subject and lights it like a product shot. Same contract as Motion: the preview is the export.

Subjects

Screens — a real MacBook model (its lid opens), phone, tablet and monitor. Apparel — a draped t-shirt and a cap that carry your artwork on the fabric with genuine folds. Drinkware — a mug and a soda can, printed the way round things really are: the artwork wraps the body instead of being pasted on flat. Print — a matted, framed poster (pick the frame colour) and a business card lying face-up. Plus a flag and a tote. Every built-in subject is license-clean; “Your model” imports any .glb or .gltf and finds its screen automatically.

Light and camera

The rig is PBR with a studio environment, so metal reads as metal, fabric as fabric and ceramic as ceramic. Picking a product reframes the camera to suit it — a card seen three-quarter from above, a poster filled upright — so every subject opens well-composed. Camera presets — Front, 3/4, Hero, Top — get you to a usable angle in one click; orbit, height, dolly and field of view fine-tune it. Key light intensity and angle, ambient level, and tilt are all on drag-pills. A colour swatch tints the blank (shirt, mug, frame, card stock) without touching your print — the way you actually order merch.

Animate with nodes

Pose the scene, park the playhead, press + Node at playhead. Add a second node with a different pose and playback glides between them — a laptop opening, a camera orbiting, cloth catching the light. Nodes show as dots on the timeline.

Export

Set Background to None and the subject sits on transparency — drop the result onto any layout.
