AI canvases
OY.Surf vs Figma Weave
Weave connects generative models and manual editing tools. OY.Surf brings a smaller image workflow Canvas to files already on your Mac.

Where Figma Weave fits
Weave documents typed inputs and outputs, generative and manual processing nodes, searchable node creation and a properties panel. Official reference.
Choose Weave for its broader node catalogue and compositing workflows. Its saved model, node and group presets can be reused across a workspace.
Where OY.Surf fits
Choose OY.Surf when references live in existing folders. Connect Generate, Edit, Remove background, Upscale, Compress and Convert; run a branch and keep ordinary output files.
A practical workflow
Start with a product reference, add an Edit step, compare outputs and connect Upscale → Convert. Export the recipe JSON to reuse the chain with another image.
What to check before switching
OY.Surf does not reproduce Weave’s complete node catalogue, compositing tools or shared workspace. Current workflow steps produce images with one image input per step.
Local processing and cloud choices
OY.Surf’s library and on-device tools work locally. AI models download when needed. Choosing a cloud provider sends the request’s prompt and selected reference to that provider using your key; its charges and policies apply. Adding a key does not upload your library automatically.
The Mac app is free while in beta. This is not a promise of permanent pricing, model-quality parity or a replacement for every feature above. Check the other product’s current plans on its official site.
