Where FLORA fits
FLORA describes text, image, video and audio nodes, reusable visual Elements, batch workflows and a Layer Editor for compositing and masking. Official reference.
Choose FLORA when a project needs connected modalities, its Elements system, batch production or integrated layer editing.
Where OY.Surf fits
OY.Surf combines a folder-based library with notes, sections, an Inspector and image steps. Use downloaded local models or supported cloud image models through your fal or OpenAI key. Create also offers Seedance video through fal, outside the Canvas graph.
A practical workflow
Collect references in a section, connect a brief note to a generation step and finish a chosen direction with a local upscale and conversion.
What to check before switching
OY.Surf does not provide FLORA’s full batch system, multi-reference Elements or video/audio generation nodes. Portable OY.Surf recipes currently use one shared external image source.
Local processing and cloud choices
OY.Surf’s library and on-device tools work locally. AI models download when needed. Choosing a cloud provider sends the request’s prompt and selected reference to that provider using your key; its charges and policies apply. Adding a key does not upload your library automatically.
The Mac app is free while in beta. This is not a promise of permanent pricing, model-quality parity or a replacement for every feature above. Check the other product’s current plans on its official site.
