Start with the finished clip

For a public demo, evaluate the recording, framing, zoom transitions, sound and export together. Make a short sample on your own Mac. A feature checklist cannot establish how polished the final result will look.

Dedicated recorder or a project workspace

Screen Studio is a dedicated Mac recorder with zoom, motion, sound and framing controls. OY.Surf includes recording and timeline editing alongside the images, notes and references in a local visual library. The difference is where recording sits in your workflow.

Check the handoff

Decide whether you need a local file, a review link, caption controls or a particular export format. Test a representative take before replacing a production recorder. Keep the original recording until the exported result is checked.
